Google has released the official Google Docs for Android app in Android Market. You will still need an internet connection to run it as it does not support the offline mode.
The user will be allowed to upload contents directly from the phone and also open attachments in his/her Gmail. Everything usual? not really. The app will also allow the user to use his/her phone's camera to click pictures of printed text and convert them into a Google document. Cool?
