According to a report in Economic Times, India’s Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the Department of Telecoms order Telecom Service Providers not to launch Nokia's proposed pushmail/powermail service without putting in place monitoring facilities. Nokia had previously said that it had set up servers in India to allow local security agencies to monitor the Emails sent and received through this service.
The country had previously given a deadline to RIM to provide for a monitoring system for it's enterprise Email service, which hasn't resulted in a solution so far.
