Google Music is here

Google launched it's cloud based music service at the I/O developer conference yesterday and calls it "Music Beta by Google". While in beta, it allows the users(you've to request for an invite...the usual) to upload about 20K songs on the cloud and then stream it using an app in the market for Android 2.2+ device or your web browser, and the service is currently free.

Any changes you make to your collection on the web or through your mobile device will be in effect immediately at either places. Also you can choose to cache songs on your mobile device, so you don't have to stream it from the cloud. Another feature called "Instant Mix" that builds an entire playlist based on a single song that the user selects. Google, you're almost there.

Check out the Introduction video. Enjoy!
